Incoterms® 2020
Who arranges and pays for what under each rule we quote.
Every quotation names the Incoterms® 2020 rule and the place or port it applies to, so responsibilities for transport, insurance, export and import clearance are clear from the start.
| EXW | Ex Works — goods are made available at our facility; the buyer arranges and pays for all transport, export clearance and insurance. |
|---|---|
| FCA | Free Carrier — we hand the goods, export-cleared, to the buyer's nominated carrier at an agreed place. |
| FOB | Free On Board (sea freight) — we deliver export-cleared goods on board the vessel at the named port of shipment; risk passes to the buyer once on board. |
| CFR | Cost and Freight — we pay sea freight to the named destination port; risk passes when goods are on board at origin. |
| CIF | Cost, Insurance and Freight — as CFR, plus we arrange minimum insurance cover to the named destination port. |
| CIP | Carriage and Insurance Paid To — we pay carriage and insurance (higher cover under Incoterms® 2020) to the named place. |
| DAP | Delivered at Place — we deliver to the named place, ready for unloading; the buyer handles import clearance and duties. |
| DDP | Delivered Duty Paid — we deliver cleared for import with duties paid. Offered only by specific agreement. |
Summary for guidance only; the official Incoterms® 2020 rules published by the ICC govern. Available terms are confirmed in each quotation.
