Shipping & Delivery Policy

DRAFT — Pending Legal Review

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This policy explains how M/S NutrivioGlobal, ships orders and samples. It forms part of our Terms of Sale.

1. Shipping terms

Every quotation and order confirmation names an Incoterms® 2020 rule (such as EXW, FCA, FOB, CIF, CIP, DAP or DDP) and the named place or port. That rule decides who arranges and pays for transport, insurance, export and import clearance, and when risk passes to the Buyer. A plain-language summary is available on our Export & Shipping and Incoterms pages; the official ICC rules prevail.

2. Shipping methods

  • Sea freight, as full-container (FCL) or consolidated (LCL) shipments, for larger volumes.
  • Air freight, airport to airport or door to door, for urgent or high-value orders.
  • Express courier for samples and small consignments.

Under EXW, FCA or FOB terms the Buyer may nominate its own freight forwarder. We coordinate pickup, documents and labelling with them.

3. Lead times

Production, documentation and dispatch times depend on the product, quantity, raw-material availability, private-label requirements and our production schedule. The estimated dispatch date is stated in the order confirmation. Transit times depend on the mode, route and carrier and are estimates only. We will tell you promptly if we expect a delay.

4. Packaging and labelling

Goods are packed for export in food- or pharma-grade packaging appropriate to the product, as agreed in the specification. Each package carries the product name, batch or lot number and other markings agreed with the Buyer or required by law. Special packaging, pallets or labelling requirements must be agreed before the order is confirmed.

5. Shipping documents

We provide a commercial invoice, packing list and Certificate of Analysis for the batch with every shipment, together with the transport document (bill of lading, air waybill or courier receipt). Certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates and other documents required by the destination country are provided where agreed in the order confirmation. The Buyer is responsible for telling us, before the order is confirmed, which documents its customs broker and regulators require.

6. Insurance

Cargo insurance is arranged by the party responsible for it under the agreed Incoterm. Under CIF we arrange minimum cover and under CIP higher cover, as required by Incoterms® 2020. Buyers may ask us to quote for additional cover.

7. Customs, duties and import rules

Unless the order is on DDP terms, import duties, taxes, customs clearance and any product registration or import licence in the destination country are the Buyer’s responsibility. Shipments held by customs because of missing import permits or registrations are at the Buyer’s cost and risk.

8. Tracking

Once goods are dispatched we share the transport document number and tracking details where available.

9. Damaged, short or missing goods

Inspect goods on arrival. Note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery receipt and inform us in writing within 7 days of arrival, with photographs of the packaging and goods. Where we arranged the transport and insurance, we will help you claim against the carrier or insurer. Claims about the quality of goods are handled under our Refunds & Returns Policy (B2B) and Quality & Complaints Policy.

10. Samples

Evaluation samples (normally up to 100 g or 100 ml) are sent by express courier after approval by our team. Sample cost and courier charges are confirmed for each request. Samples may need import permits in some countries; please check before requesting.

11. Contact

For shipping questions, contact our sales team through the Contact page and quote your order or enquiry reference.
